This Noodle Bar can be found in Antwerp in the Chinatown area. I really like to watch the cook prepare my noodles in front of me and the authentic taste of the food. It's a great stop to quickly refill your batteries or to discover some typical dishes from China.

If you are a chocolate lover, more specifically a Neuhaus lover, then I suggest you head to the Factory Store located in Vlezenbeek to enjoy a treat at a delicious price.

Do you like Donuts? Do you enjoy tasting new flavours? Then pay a visit to Coco Donuts located in the Sablon area. They offer handmade donuts in about 20 different flavours in a relaxed atmosphere. It's a lovely place to visit at tea time or on Sunday mornings...

I must admit that at first I was a bit perplex about this new address... A bistro serving pasta called CoinCoin? With a Belgian staff? Yup it's possible and actually quite good but only because the concept was really thought through: a provider from Bologna, a well trained staff and chef, a decor that is classy without being too much, a short menu and everything on it is made from scratch in the kitchen (pasta included!)... Are you seeing a pattern? Me too!

This "Terrasse" is a true institution in Brussels. Serving fish and seafood fresh from the day in a quick fashion is the speciality of De Noordzee. You can enjoy a healthy snack with a glas of wine at a high table with a friend or a stranger ;) They also do take aways!

If you are looking for a restaurant that offers typical dishes from Shanghai and its region, head to Gourmets Every-day. You will discover new tastes and flavours and observe the magic happen through the open kitchen. If you are struggling to decide, do not hesitate to ask the French speaking tenant for help!

Meat & Bourbon lovers, this is the address for you! I am not a fan of the location but the food is awesome and so is the drink menu! Holy Smoke might look expensive at first but the quality/quantity ratio is quite alright. 

Huimian is the place to visit if you are craving noodles, with or without soup! This place is managed by Pierre, who comes from Henan in China, he makes everyday fresh noodles from his region, stock and toppings. I've visited this restaurant a few times, tested the entire menu and it was always a pleasure!

Note: that Huimian is also doing takeaways during the covid crisis. 

This resto/bar is amazing for a dinner or just to chill and enjoy a drink in a special atmosphere. Cosy and classy, l'Amusoir is perfect for a change of scenery and relax.

If you're looking for a restaurant that sources its products from a Belgian farm and prepares all its food on the spot, then go to L'Auberge des Maieurs. Prices are a tad expensive but at least you know where your food is coming from and that it is bio/organic. On top of that you won't believe you're eating in Brussels, it will feel like the countryside! 

If you are in the mood for a typical Belgian dish served in a modern set-up, then La Cocotte Belge is the right choice. This brasserie located in Waterloo revisits Belgian specialties and proves that nothing beats grandma's recipes!

A restaurant located in Waterloo that I recommend if you are looking for a delicious asian lunch or dinner in a lovely atmosphere. Their garden is amazing during Spring and Summer!

When I wrote this title, I debated for while whether these burgers were the best in Auderghem or just the best in town... Since I haven't tried all the burgers in town, I settled for Auderghem but I can honestly say that if you're looking for a delicious burger this is the right address and prices aren't crazy! 

If you feel like eating a burger XL or ribs in a retro/bistro like atmosphere that will bring you back in the Brusseleir universe, make sure to visit Le Schievelavabo. 

If you are passing Uccle don't miss out and visit Les Fils à Papa! This restaurant serves a traditional cuisine with a few Asian touches. There definitely something that will appeal to your taste-buds! 

Opened in 2009 by two creative moms with a passion for baking, Lilicup has now become a real institution. With its cute tea room and long list of stunning and delicious cupcakes that you can bring back home, Lilicup is a Must-Visit when in Brussels. 

Long Kee is a Chinese take away (traiteur) located Rue aux Bois that offers some really good authentic Chinese food. You can eat on site if you want to but the seating is limited. You can also order their lunch box for 7.5€ most days of the week...

Menma is one of the best addresses, if not the best, in Brussels to get a bowl of ramen in a Japanese atmosphere: an open kitchen, a few tables and some chairs at the counter as well as the usual Irasshai Masai when you enter! The quality of each bowl and the decent price make it a great lunch or dinner option if you are in Ixelles close to the ULB. It's an address worth sharing for anyone who'd like to try Japanese ramen or find back the taste of Japan!

If you are looking for a restaurant serving authentic Chinese food (not just Cantonese) then I suggest you head to Auderghem and visit Panda - Saveurs Chinoises. Don't mind the look of the restaurant and focus on the delicious food instead! It's worth it!

Shao Shan is a restaurant well-known amongst the Chinese community serving typical dishes from the Hunan region. You will regularly see diplomats having their meetings or just relaxing during the afternoon...You may even meet the Ambassador of China in Brussels if you're lucky.
