My boyfriend works every Friday and Sunday at Fleur's restaurant in Ixelles, the university district as I like to call it. In this very district you will find the Free University of Brussels and its Flemish version the VUB and as you can imagine most students live close by. Because of the student population, lots of shops, restaurants and pubs have opened and live off this population. I must say that the atmosphere there is young and really festive. Yesterday, I had my fun at Fleur's restaurant. My boyfriend and I went to visit some more furniture shops and then he had to work so I ate with him at the restaurant, I love the menu!! It's really tasty and some meals are especially great :) I recommend the baby cuttlefish which is an amazing starter because the spice mix is really good, also the Pho soups and the Bun Bo vermicelli with beef and mint...God I enjoyed my food :p My boyfriend had a soup with noodle and duck, I stole some chunks of meat from his bowl :p Even though it was a soup, the duck was crispy... So mouth-watering :)
The atmosphere in the restaurant is nice and fun, and the decoration is not what you would expect from an Asian restaurant. It's all red, Mona Lisa and candelabra as for the outside, the building's looks are nice as well. I will take some pictures from the inside of the restaurant next week when I go back and try another meal :D To give you an idea of the price, my Bun Bo (vermicelli, beef, veggies and spring rolls) was 9.40€, bigger portion is 12.40€ but you eat way enough with one bowl and it tastes great!

Address: Chaussée de Boondael 326. 1050, Brussels
Average price: 11€-16€ for one meal (+ drinks, starters and dessert if you take them of course) but for a normal person you don't spend more than 20€ per person.
Rating: GREAT (service, food, atmosphere, fast)
