Most will agree that breakfast is the most important meal of the day. It actually represents how you will start your morning and it probably will influence the many hours that will follow: good mood, energy, motivation,...But there are days when we don't have the time to prepare breakfast or we simply are too lazy. That's when delivery comes in handy!
Breakfast Delivery is a concept born from an idea and passion with the help of a crowdfunding: A delicious breakfast delivered at your house, even before you come out of bed! Thanks to Sanne and the 48 kissbankers who funded the project, this is now reality and anyone in Brussels can enjoy this service! (in a radius of 4km around the Bourse)
I have heard of this project late June 2016 and I thought it would be nice to try it because sometimes I don't want to do anything but enjoy my day. I have kept an eye on Breakfast Delivery and decided to go for it this week...Only problem, being myself I ordered for Friday instead of the weekend :) Typical me, since I am on holiday every Friday until the end of the year, I automatically thought "Weekend"!
I received a very nice email from Sanne in the morning telling me that deliveries are normally on weekends but that she would make an exception and deliver the breakfast nonetheless: Thank You! Around 9:30 the delivery arrived at my place, I paid with the bancontact app and I could enjoy a delicious breakfast home. I am really happy to have contacted Breakfast Delivery and not another company that might not have reacted the same way...Sanne is really nice, understanding and professional!

In terms of breakfast choice, you have 2 menus with their specific items to choose from and the list is expanding!
Simple Breakfast (15,5€) = Coffee (espresso, cappuccino, americano, macchiato latte) or Tea (Earl Grey, Nilgri or Shencha lemon), freshly squeezed orange juice, pistolet, croissant or viennoiserie chocolate, homemade jam and chocopaste or cheese and ham, butter and a hard or soft boiled egg with soldiers.
Deluxe Breakfast (26,95€) = Simple Breakfast + yogurt with homemade granola and fresh fruits or chia-coconut pudding with mango puree and fresh raspberries, toast with salmon and avocado.
You can add bubbles to your breakfast too and order extras of about everything (1 - 3€ per extra and champagne is 25€ for 37,5 Cl and 50€ for 75 Cl).
I ordered the Simple Breakfast with extra pistolet and viennoiseries and ham and cheese, I couldn't imagine myself finishing the Deluxe haha...Or maybe in two days!
I really like the fact that both the Americano and my soft egg were still warm upon arrival! The bread, croissant and viennoiserie were fresh and perfectly crunchy but the best part is the jam and chocopaste! Both are homemade and absolutely delicious, I was mindblown to be honest.
For all this I paid 22€ using a bancontact app (with the QR code) but you can also pay in cash or via bank transfer. Orders can be made by email, by phone or using the form online. Everything is made to simplify your life so you can enjoy your breakfast!
Also, for those of you that are like me...prompt to order on the wrong day ... No worries anymore, Deliveroo will provide delivery during week days so no matter when, you can have your perfect breakfast at home or at the office. Sanne is also expanding her menu and offers lunches !
Now after this breakfast, I get a feeling that I had almost forgotten since I started living on my own...It reminds me of those days when I was a child and my mom would make breakfast for me, taking care of every aspect so it was a perfect experience. That's precisely what Sanne does for you :) So I warmly recommend her services (Breakfast, Brunch, Lunch) if you are looking for a great experience.
